
This years course starts back on Monday 30th January

The Board of Youth and Children's Ministry of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, in partnership with Union Theological College, Belfast offers a Certificate in Youth Ministry.
The course is designed to support leaders in church-based youth ministry and will provide insight into Youth Fellowship, Youth Club, and Bible Class or any other church based youth ministry. This is also the ideal context to network with others in youth ministry, while being resourced and envisioned, trained and refreshed.
The course will be held at Union Theological College and will incorporate a teaching programme of 16 weeks plus a light introduction evening. There is a weekly class time commitment of 2 hours (7:30pm - 9:30pm) on a Monday evening and a required residential weekend in November.
A team of experienced lecturers will deliver this highly practical course which will lead to the award of a Certificate in Youth Ministry. In addition to attending the weekly lectures and residential the certificate will be awarded to those who successfully complete 2 coursework assignments. There are no academic entrance requirements for this course; however, it is expected that candidates will be engaged in church-based youth ministry.
